“Kendriya Vidyalaya Alirajpur” was established in 2020 and is currently housed in a temporary building located at the Government Polytechnic College in Kharkari, Alirajpur (M.P.). The school is situated about 8 km from the main city of Alirajpur. The Kendriya Vidyalayas are managed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi. These schools primarily serve the educational needs of the children of central government employees, including those in the civil sector, defense personnel, and other families who face frequent transfers across the country. As such, Kendriya Vidyalayas follow a uniform syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
